Soon, end your long wait with this WhatsApp feature

Facebook-owned WhatsApp will soon introduce the recall and revoke feature for its users. The company has not yet released the feature, but according to online reports, the feature will soon be available for Windows Phone users.

The information comes courtesy of a few screenshots tweeted by @WABetaInfo, a Twitter account that tracks new features and changes in WhatsApp’s beta builds. As per WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp beta version 2.17.218 of Windows Phone has the much-awaited recall feature. Along with this, WABetainfo reveals that the latest WhatsApp version for Windows Phone will also incorporate “Learn more” button for the recall feature.

Earlier reports suggested that the recall feature will enable users to revoke or edit a sent message, in case they happen to change their mind. The recalled message will reportedly be deleted from the recipient’s smartphone as well.

Last week, WhatsApp introduced a new feature the ‘Night Mode’ for its in-app camera. The new feature lets users click better images in low light conditions.

The Night Mode in WhatsApp can be triggered with a small half-moon icon placed on top-right corner of the in-app camera. Tap the icon and the image brightens up as it shoots up the ISO level for a slightly brighter image while shooting in low light conditions. It is also possible to switch between the rear and front-facing cameras and zoom in/out. To further brighten the image, you can also use LED flash on the smartphone.
The feature is presently being rolled out only for iOS users and there is no word on when the feature will be available on Android devices.
