Square Enix Announces the Launch of 'Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis' Mobile in September

Square Enix plans to add a new mobile game to its well-known Final Fantasy series. The mobile game and the battle royale action game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier were both revealed by the gaming company in 2021.Originally scheduled for release in 2022, the game. Players will be able to relive some of the game's most iconic moments as the upcoming version recounts the events of the original game. Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis also includes backstories of The First Soldier and stories of the characters when they were younger.

The gameplay of the upcoming mobile game is based on the Active Time Battle system of the original. The game is expected to be optimized for mobile devices. Ever Crisis is a free game. However, reports suggest that players will have to spend money to play "gacha" and get weapons and other items.
