More than 2,000 school teachers from various educational institutes across tier 2 and tier 3 cities in Tamil Nadu will be trained at the institute. This will not only help in providing an orientation to conventional and contemporary pedagogy but will also offer insights on various classroom management tools, development of communication skills and development of applications that will add value to existing pedagogical transactions. Additionally, it will also facilitate the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training programme.

The state-of-the-art training center will include a language lab, digital assessment solutions, lecture capture solutions, studio to develop learning material, facilities to develop simple applications for a teaching-learning ecosystem and other support facilities for the training programmes.

“This programme will be a game-changing initiative in the critical sector of school education that requires teachers to embrace the changing paradigms of teaching using a fine mix of modern & established teaching styles.

Each 6-day training program will be organised in batches of 45 at the institute. The first batch of training will commence in the month of October. The teacher’s training programme will be offered predominantly to select school teachers across different levels viz. primary, secondary, higher secondary and also professional college teachers in separate batches.
