Tecno will Showcase its MegaMini PC at IFA 2023: Check Key Specifications

Berlin will host the IFA 2023 consumer electronics trade show from today to September 5th. During the five-day show, new goods from various electrical firms will be unveiled. Tecno, which will be exhibiting its first-ever Mini PC, the MegaMini, will be one of the guests.

Tecno MegaMini at IFA 2023

Tecno will present a mini-computer at IFA 2023. According to the brand of the smartphone, it is not a traditional business mini-computer, but designed specifically for gaming. Mini PCs are generally designed for normal everyday tasks, so it will be interesting to see how much gaming you can get out of it.

Some pictures show that the gaming perspective of the MegaMini is very clear, and the RGB lighting effects are spread throughout the system. There is a headphone jack next to the power button and the Tecno MegaMini has four USB ports.

Technical information

In terms of specifications, the Tecno MegaMini is believed to be powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor coupled with Iris Xe Graphics. There is also a FAN water cooling system to remove heat.

There is no word yet on how much the Tecno MegaMini will cost and whether it will be launched in global markets including India. Earlier this year, Tecno confirmed its entry into the Indian laptop market with the MEGABOOK-S1 and MEGABOOK-T1 laptops. So we can also get a mini computer here.

Tecno POVA 5 launched in India

Tecno recently launched the POVA 5 series in India. Tecno POVA 5 Pro is also a gaming-focused smartphone with LED lights on the back. The phone packs decent specs for the price, including a 120Hz display, a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and a 50MP primary camera at Rs 14,999.

Tecno announces a rollable smartphone concept called Phantom Ultimate

Meanwhile, Tecno has presented the Phantom Ultimate, a rollable smartphone prototype that is the most recent output of its R&D laboratories. The display grows laterally, going from 6.55" to 7.11" in 1.2-1.3 seconds. With the exception of the folding portion, this second Tecno idea gadget is extremely similar to the Vision V.

Tecno Phantom Specifications

The Phantom Ultimate includes a single-drive motor system that, when activated by pressing a button on the top right side of the phone, extends the gadget. When the gadget is folded up, the additional screen, which serves as an Always-On Display, sits on the back of a standard 6.55" smartphone.

The panel is a 7.11" On-cell LTPO AMOLED with a resolution of 2,296 x 1,596 pixels and a pixel density of 388 PPI. Despite the fact that it is difficult to validate such statistics on a concept, it gives 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

According to Tecno, the smartphone can be held comfortably with one hand because its base is only 9.93 mm thick. The gadget includes textured back for enhanced grip and protective glass for the sliding region.

However, the Phantom Ultimate is currently only a concept, and there is no sign that it will hit the market any time soon, which is the truly terrible news. There are undoubtedly technological hurdles that must be solved before rollable phones are available, and it is impossible to predict how long that process will take.
