Toshiba introduces 4K display-based Satellite P50t Laptop for Rs 86,000

Toshiba moves ahead with its new range of powerful laptops that packs UHD 4K display and latest processor. The company unveils Satellite P, S, L series laptops, as well as announces ultra slim and light Portege Z30 and Tecra Z40 laptops, and Tecra W50 professional workstation.

The company also gains the tag of becoming the first to launch an Ultra HD or 4Kbased laptop- Satellite P50 in the world. The stunning UHD touch screen offers lifelike crystal-clear definition at 3840X2160 resolution. It packs 4th generation Intel core i7 processor that clocks at 3.5 GHz, 8 GB RAM expandable up to 16 GB, 1 TB HDD with HDD and AMD Radeon R9 (2 GB graphics). The brushed-metallic finish body enhances the look of P50 and has the frameless backlit tile keyboard which is spill resistant. This one is priced at Rs 86,000 

Satellite S40 laptop is another slim device from the company that weighs at 1.87 kg. With the metallic brushed finish, this slim laptop comes with 4th gen Intel core processor with the clock speed of 1.6 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 1TB HDD and running on Windows 8.1 OS. This includes an HDMI port capable with 4K output capability. It will be available at the price of Rs 50,790.

The L series laptops range from Toshiba is priced between Rs 25,785 and Rs 61,170. The series includes several laptops with an option to choose from depending on individual's need and budget. It has laptops ranging between AMD A4-5000 quad core APU to 4th gen Intel core i7 processors. It is available in three elegant color choices - premium glossy black, luxury white and satin gold.

Toshiba also reveals detachable hybrid laptop at the event - Portege Z10t-A and Satellite L30W. This works like an ultrabook and when needed can be carried as tablet. Portege Z10t-A has 11.6-inch IPS FHD display with corning concore glass and an anti-glare coating. The touch device has a quick release lock that allows user to detach the screen and convert it into a mobile device. It is powered by Intel core processor and has spill-resistant and LED backlit keyboard. It also bundles advance security features including the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that safeguards locally stored data. And the Satellite L30W hybrid laptop has 13-inch HD display with IPS panel and boasts 1.5 GHz Intel core i3 processor and 500 GB HDD making the device independently capable to store data. This will be available from July at the price of Rs 53,520.

In addition to that, Toshiba launched some more thin and light laptops; Portege Z30-A and Tecra Z40-A powered by 4th gen Intel Core i7 processors as well as the very first time professional workstation Tecra W50 that is coupled with Intel quad-core Core i7 processor.
