Is there a USB port in your tablet or smartphone? Well, you are most likely to hear a 'No' in repose to this question. Transcend has addressed this issue with StoreJet Cloud, a drive that comes with 32 GB and 64 GB storage capacities, to address data storage issues you face with your tablet or smartphone. It saves you from wire tangles through its inbuilt 802.11n supporting wireless network that connects your iOS devices (iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch), Kindle Fire, Android devices, and other Wi-Fi enabled portable computers. Besides the wireless capability you don't have to continuously attach a power source to StoreJet as it comes with a rechargeable Li-polymer battery that gives about six hours of power backup.

To use this drive with your tablet or smartphone, simply go to the relevant application store and download the free 'StoreJet Cloud' app. Next, go to WiFi settings and connect to your network (the default SSID is 'StorejetCloud'). Once connected it is recommended to change security settings (WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA2-Mixed is supported) so that your data is accessible to only those with proper authentication. This also means you cannot surf Internet from a wireless connection while accessing data from this drive. The other way of connecting this drive is via the standard USB 2.0 interface. For convenience, a wireless on/off switch is also provided on the drive. One limitation is that you cannot simultaneously access data from both a wireless and a USB interface.
