In the 100 to 499 employees segment, Numeric claims the second spot. Both current as well as prospective buyers of Numeric have registered a high level of confidence in it's products. Emerson was sitting on the second position last year, but has moved to the third spot this year. As much as 18% of Intex users have mentioned that they are likely to shift brands in the future. Siemens stayed at the same spot to be placed on the fourth position this year too, and going by the data, the users are not really happy with the initial pricing.

In the 500+ employees segment, Siemens has grabbed a seat for itself at the fifth spot. As a result, Powerware, a new entrant, claims fourth spot. Numeric moves up two positions to number two, whereas it was at the fourth position last year. Here too, Siemens needs to check on initial pricing and after-sales support and service, as the current users have shown almost no confidence in them. Also, Delta needs to worry with about 10% users having no plans for future purchases. It has registered the least brand loyalty, while Emerson, Powerware and Siemens remain the favorites with the users with absolutely no one of them considering a brand change.

Coming to reasons for going for a specific brand, it was largely product reliability that mattered in both segments with a few exceptions.

Current users of Emerson and Siemens in the 500+ segment did not mention after-sales support/service to be an important reason behind their purchase. As many as 61.1% of current users of Siemens in the 100-499 segment mentioned product quality to be an important reason for their satisfaction. However, in the same segment, a startling 54.5% of prospective Intex users mentioned after-sales support/service to be the reason behind their choice.
