Without any surprise, Oracle manages to regain its position at the top and right at its trail is Microsoft SQL Server across survey segments.

IBM manages to book a place third position across the 100-499 and 500-999 survey segments which is followed by SAP and Teradata in 100-499 survey segment while the latter fails to get into our users' choice club in the other survey segment. Interestingly, the top of mind recall of the winning brand is way ahead of the runner up. And this is true for users of both survey segments.

For Oracle users, brand name is the most critical thing as a reason for satisfaction followed by product reliability. Brand name is also the top parameter for Microsoft SQL Server users, followed by product reliability. And this would be the reason for their planning to use the same brand in future. SAP users voted for reliability of product as the single most reason for satisfaction in both survey segments.

In terms of brand loyalty, the winning brand has most of its users loyal barring a small 3% users who're likely to move out, across categories. The loyalty matrix of Microsoft users are also same with only 9% users planning a shift out in 100-499 survey segment.

While the users of IBM are happy with their current brand to continue using it in future, 43% users in the 500-1000 survey segment might move out. Users of both SAP and Teradata seem to be satisfied with their current brands with 100% loyalty.
