Veeam drives into 2017 with 63% total bookings revenue in India

Veeam, the provider of Availability solutions today announced that its India business has witnessed growth momentum to begin the year 2017 with 63 percent total booking revenues for the first quarter of 2017.

Veeam is committed to enable Always-On enterprise and our growth in the first quarter is a testimony of our focus on enterprise and cloud offerings.” Globally, during the Q1’17 the company reported 33 percent YoY increase in total bookings revenues while Enterprise new license bookings grew 17 percent annually. This was driven by explosive gains in Enterprise and Cloud revenues.

“It’s no small feat for a company with more than $600 million in annual bookings to deliver 33 percent growth YoY, and I’m enormously proud of our entire team,” said Peter McKay, President and COO at Veeam.  “Looking ahead, we expect continued growth for the remainder of this year, fueled by new Veeam product releases, joint product offerings with our Alliances partners, further share gains in Enterprise, and Veeam-powered cloud solutions.”

During the quarter, the company witnessed strong growth momentum in enterprise market and it now counts 74 percent of the Fortune 500 and 56 percent of the Global 2000 as customers. Additionally, with 100 percent commitment to channel partners, Veeam has 47,000 Veeam ProPartners and 15000 Veeam Cloud Service Providers (VCSPs) globally. The company also highlighted that it has maintained successful track record of new customers acquisition, by adding 12,000 total paid customer in Q1 2017 to reach 2,42,000 customer worldwide.
