ViVo is all set to launch – Vivo V7 and V7 plus

Vivo is all ready to launch its latest selfie smartphones in India. Vivo has scheduled an event in Mumbai where it will unveil the Vivo V7 and V7 Plus. The organization will be live streaming the event on its official website and its YouTube channel. Besides, it will also be live streaming the event on both Flipakrt and Amazon.

Vivo V7 and V7+ both will sport 24MP selfie cameras. This innovation will make them the first smartphones to sport a 24MP front camera. The smartphones are also expected to come with edge-to-edge ‘FullView’ displays spotted in LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+. It is said to feature a 5-inch and 5.7-inch displays and expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and 660 chipsets.

In the previous month, Vivo slashed the price of its V5 Plus smartphone in India. The selfie-focused smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 4,990. Originally launched at Rs 27,980, the smartphone is now available at Rs 22,990.

GadgetsNow has confirmed with its sources that the price cut is permanent. The smartphones are available in White and Gold color combination, the V5 Plus comes with dual selfie cameras at the front. One has a 20MP module with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture, while the other has an 8MP module.

The two front-facing cameras are the USP of the smartphone. Vivo V5 Plus comes with a ‘one-tap enhance’ beauty feature, that automatically tweaks multiple facial features to make the selfies look better. The smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera as well.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with a ‘Moonlight Glow’ feature which helps users click selfies in dimly-lit areas. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM.
