XGenPlus is offered in two options; client side deployment and hosted options. For client side deployment, there are two licensing policies --CPU license and per user license. Organizations with high user base should opt for CPU license as it supports unlimited users and costs Rs 2.5 Lacs. Whereas organizations with small user groups can go for per user licensing policy with each user license costing Rs 500 per annum. The hosted option is for organizations who do not have a server infrastructure or who do not want the hassles of maintaining and monitoring a mail server. The XGenPlus mail server is hosted on the vendor's datacenter and fee of Rs 999 per user per annum is levied.

XGenPlus has specifically designed modules for organizations that not only require email communication, but a platform that is secure and can also be used for collaboration purpose. From administrator's perspective, the mail server offers advanced monitoring features along with standard features like rights management and messaging rules.

Though there is support for Outlook or other mail clients, the main features that XGenPlus boast of are all there in the web mail client. The browser based client has simple but intuitive interface and has features like tabbed panes, encryption, auto message completion and group mailing features. The group mailing feature is designed to be used as e-marketing campaign tool by the organizations, which allows users to track and manage bulk-mails easily. It allows sending personalized emails to each recipient, and keeps the count of delivered, pending, bounced, read and replied mails. Also you do not have to worry about your mail server to be blacklisted for mass mailing as you can set range of IP addresses to be used for delivering the bulk mail.

Bottomline: XGenPlus is ideal for organizations that require a mail server which is easy to implement and manage and is cost effective.
