Xiaomi’s Pad 6 Launches with Premium Design Including Dolby Vision Support at Rs 26999

Today, Xiaomi released the Pad 6 tablet in India. Like its predecessor, the Pad 5, the Pad 6 makes high-end features like Dolby Vision playback capabilities and luxury all-metal construction available to everyone. Consider it Xiaomi's response to the OnePlus Pad. The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be on sale in India on June 21 for a starting price of Rs 26,999.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Specifications and Features

The Pad 6 has an all-metal unibody design. The construction is minimal and sleek. The tablet only has a thickness of 6.51 mm and weighs 490 grams. The bezels are thin and the forward looking camera (which is 8MP) lies on the more extended edge meaning it's in scene direction which makes it very helpful for zoom calls and likes.

This display has a 2.8K resolution of 11 inches, a 7-stage 144Hz refresh rate (3-/48/50/60/90/120/144Hz), and a peak brightness of up to 550 nits. Right from the start, the panel can play HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 provides screen protection.

The tablet has a Snapdragon 870 chipset and an 8,840mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The included charger, according to Xiaomi, can charge the Pad 6 from 0% to 100% in less than one hundred minutes. The MIUI 14 software, which is based on Android 13, is in charge.

The package also includes a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support and a 13MP rear-facing camera.

Price and availability of the Xiaomi Pad 6 in India
