Xolo expanded its smartphone line-up with Play 6X-1000 and Q500s IPS

Xolo's two new smartphones enter into the Indian market, targeting two segments of consumers. This time company aims to please both entry-level and mid-segment customers. Xolo Q500s IPS is made for first time buyers and available at the price of Rs 5,999. And the Play 6X-1000 is priced at Rs 14,499 to attract customers looking for high-end device.

The budget smartphone Xolo Q500s IPS boasts a 4-inch screen of 480X800 resolution and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2. It is equipped with 1.3 GHz quad core processor and Mali-400 graphics. The only thing that could be higher is 512 MB RAM to make it a seamless performer in this range. It comes with 4 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone gets power from 1500 mAh battery that company claims can run for 16 hours on 2G. It is coupled with 5 MP rear camera with flash and 0.3 MP front camera. The Q500s IPS is available in color choices of black, white, blue, red and green.

Xolo Play 6X-1000 has a 5-inch IPS display of 720 x 1280p resolution and runs on Android KitKat. It is powered by 1.5 GHz hexa core processor and Mali-450 GPU. The company inserted 2 GB RAM for smooth operations. It has 8 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB. According to the company, the 2100 mAh battery keeps it running for up to 14 hours on 3G. The 8 MP camera is equipped at the rear with flash and the 2 MP at the front.
