New Update

This is Zen Mobile's latest offering, which is the company's first quad core CPU based smartphone running at 1.2 GHz with a MediaTek MT6589 chipset, The Ultrafone 701 looks very similar to Spice Karbonn S5. It's slightly bulky, but feels good in hand. Zen is also bundling a free flip-cover and back-panel with each purchase of the Ultrafone 701. This is very handy especially when you are traveling and for protection in daily use.

The smartphone is a little bulky but is manageable. It has a 5-inch screen that supports 1280x720 pixels resolution, runs the latest Android 4.2 JellyBean OS, has 1 GB RAM, and 4 GB internal memory that is expandable to 32 GB.

The GSM handset also supports dual-SIMs, out of which one supports 3G, while the other operates on 2G. The Ultrafone 701 also has a decent 8 MP camera on the back and 3.2 MP camera on the front. It sports a 2000 mAH battery. Plus, there's WiFi and Bluetooth as the other standard connectivity options. Performance: Features and performance wise, this mobile is very much identical to Karbonn S5, with the the noticeable difference being the screen resolution. The S5 supports 450x960 pixels resolution, while this one supports a whopping 1280x720. It also performs quite smoothly.

We installed some heavy apps on this device and they ran quite smoothly without any lag.
