Network administrators are constantly under pressure to
keep the network up all the time and they need to be notified immediately when a
server or network device goes down. Server Nanny can notify them within minutes
of a server breakdown, thus, helping reduce downtime. It's a network- and
server-monitoring software, which has various ways of alerting the concerned
person when a fault occurs. It can notify by sending an e-mail, SMS, by playing
a sound, or by running a custom script and many other methods. It can also be
configured to perform some actions like Starting/stopping/restarting services,
restarting and shutting down servers, and running custom executables in case of
a problem.

Server Nanny can monitor servers for disk space, CPU usage,
physical memory, processes, etc. Both Linux and Microsoft servers can be
monitored.
