It is based on GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and comes for Rs 3,000. It works on Windows and uses its proprietary database; data can be exported to any standard RDBMS as well. Its inventory-management module is suitable for organizations with large stock bases, such as small retail stores. It doesn't, however, do inventory tracking. Some good features are report printing, production accounting and bank reconciliation. It can generate customized invoices and challans directly from the vouchers. Plus, you can calculate the brokerage/ commission on sale/ purchase, making it suitable for small manufacturing firms. However, for other sales/purchase functions, such as purchase amendments and order tracking, you may need to buy a separate sales/purchase package.
