New Update

This package comes in five variants, which cater to different needs. We've reviewed the corporate edition that covers financial accounting, standard invoice printing, receivables and payables, division, report configurator, post-dated cheques, MIS, inventory management, multi currency, budgeting, production, TDS, etc. It's especially suitable for those into manufacturing and trading. It's also meant for multi-location businesses, and can exchange data between different branches over e-mail. The package has been made by an Indian company, and therefore takes care of several Indian statutory requirements. Further, it writes expired stock reports in inventory management, which is useful to the food and pharmaceuticals industries.

The MIS reporting in the package offers plenty of flexibility at all levels. It can print vouchers, making invoicing easier. Discounts can be calculated either for each transaction or for the entire voucher. Another good feature of the package is comparison of standard cost and actual cost. We also liked its product-wise costing of profitability.

The package, however, doesn't offer multiple discounts to different suppliers. For that, it would have been nice if the software had some sort of a sheet, which could map multiple discounts across the suppliers. One feature we missed having in the corporate edition was the presence of payroll; it is not present in any of the variants. Therefore, the package doesn't take care of ESI, PF, etc.

Overall, a good package for small businesses.
