The Problem: Accurate information has to continuously flow from the shop-floor to the top-floor.

To understand shop-floor efficiencies, losses and patterns there is the Japanese TPM and its O.E.E. concepts of asset utilization, production efficiencies, availability efficiency and classification of losses.

The company needed a solution that could automate the data collection for productivity and O.E.E. and present that data for analysis to decision makers.

The Solution: A solution called TPM-Trak was implemented, which is rugged software and is compatible with any machine in the production floor. The software automates the acquisition of real-time domain-rich production data, cycle data, losses etc. from the machines on production floor and accumulate that to be presented to decision makers in real-time.

The Result: TPM Trak eliminates manual entry of production data and parameters; thereby increasing speed, accuracy and depth of shop-floor data and analytics to drive manufacturing productivity. The company has seen an increase in productivity by about 20%.
