Acer Intros Three New Windows 8 Devices, Acer Iconia W3, Aspire P3, and Aspire R7 in Indian market

Acer Iconia W3

The Iconia tablet, made for professionals, students and families comes with access to Microsoft Office 2013 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote.

The device weighs 540 grams and is 11.35 mm thin making it easy to take anywhere. The device pairs with an optional full-size Bluetooth keyboard that holds the tablet upright for typing and then conveniently docks to the tablet to lay flat for easy, screen-protected transportation. The keyboard mirrors the size of those found on larger 13.3-inch notebooks. The Acer Iconia W3 is designed with a virtual keypad sized for optimal thumb typing.

The Iconia W3 will be available from Rs 30,499 onwards.

Aspire P3 Ultrabook

Acer Aspire P3 Ultrabook transforms into tablet-mode. Weighing only 1.3 kilograms and measuring 0.77-inches thin, the new Acer Aspire P3 Ultrabook makes touch computing easy. Plus, the form factor of the Acer P3 adds the productivity to ensure all-day usefulness beyond the fun in tablet mode.

The Aspire P3 will be available from Rs 54,499 onwards.

Touch-and-type Aspire R7 notebook

The Windows 8 powered Aspire R7 notebook features a 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 touch screen. With a repositioned keyboard and the Ezel hinge that moves the display forward and into different positions, the Aspire R7 makes the combination of touching the screen and using the keyboard more intuitive and natural. With four modes of operation, the R7 can easily be used as a conventional notebook, a pad, a display, or switched to "Ezel allowing the screen to float over the keyboard at various angles. This enables users to work where they want and how they want: seated or standing, at a desk or on their lap.

The Aspire R7 will be available from Rs 74,999 onwards.
