Joining all these biggies, Taiwan-based Acer has decided to take matter into its hand and try to seek out some space in the ever-evolving wearable arena.

The company has showcased its smartwatch called Liquid Leap that also doubles up as a fitness tracker device. No further detail about the Liquid Leap has been shared by Acer as of now but keeping the basic modus operandi of smartwatch in mind, one can expect the device to notify users about incoming/missed calls, messages, important alerts and help them in keep a check on their health based activity on day-to-day basis.

As expected, Leap will function by pairing up with various Android smartphone, including Acer's Liquid Jade smartphone that will also make its way to markets in the coming months. The phone is a 5 incher that matches up to the competition right now and will be making its official bow later this year.
