When we talk about education in India, we generally start comparing it with digitally and technologically advanced education system in other countries that automate almost all the activities in the educational organization. Earlier we used to hear a lot of cases of lack of retention of students in schools as most of the students used to find studies boring but none. Technology has improved education to a great extent and it has now become a need for revolutionizing education for the better.

Nowadays we can see numerous instances where with the adoption of new technologies a lot of improvement in education shows a remarkable improvement in the IQ level of students. Students find it more easy to grasp the textual contents through virtual and 3D technologies rather just reading the colourless books.

In today’s technological advancement times teachers collaborate to share their ideas and resources online and their students can access them on the sites with their student ID’s and passwords.  They can communicate with their teachers, find their assignments online, meet the deadlines of their work, refine it and provide their students with the best.

This approach has enhanced a lot the way of teaching as well as learning. Students develop valuable research and this gives students immediate access to the abundance of quality information which leads to learning at much quicker rates than before. Students and teachers have access to an expanse of material, there are plenty of resourceful, credible websites available on the Internet that both teachers and students can utilize. The Internet also provides a variety of knowledge and does not limit students to one person's opinion. Online education is now accredited and has changed the way we view education.

Technology can improve the way students learning and as well as benefit the teachers. Classroom technologies have become essential in carrying out daily learning activities and it makes a lot of impact on the student. Advancement in technology makes it possible for incorporation into classroom activities.

Nowadays flipped education is an upcoming way of learning where short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the classroom sessions and time is devoted to exercises or other learning processes.

Another advancement in the education area is the electronic whiteboards, they are not only used for group presentations which enhance learning but also to make students learn in different ways. Most of the schools use whiteboards to teach various subjects and are interactive.

Few schools also have upgraded smart whiteboards with a touchscreen functionality, so the teacher can illustrate points using a pen or their finger. Teachers can display visual images on these whiteboards which improve the learning process. Using projectors teachers can project a diagram from a laptop onto the board and draw on it to help students understand quickly.  Such display images attract students more and it also gives them a visual treat.

Students are allowed to use their personal computers or handheld devices to watch lectures hosted on school servers. Later, they can have interactive discussions in class based on the videos while other teaching applications and classroom software are being introduced into the technology market. This drives the need for schools to get sophisticated computers with powerful processors to run the said applications.

Classroom software help in managing and storing of the student as well as attendance records. Computers contribute to abolishing the need for bulky encyclopedias and dictionaries as students can quickly look up information on the internet. Monitoring software can assist in gauging the level of understanding of students by checking for their recall of mathematics facts, quizzing their comprehension of a book, or by providing an interactive lab complete with a virtual dissection.

In a large classroom, all students may not be able to view what the teaching is showing on the laptop screen, here the projector hooks up to a laptop and projects the screen to a larger whiteboard in front of the classroom. It allows students, even those at the back, to see a larger version of the laptop screen.

One of the latest addition in the education methodology is teaching students through video conferencing, students in different geographical locations can attend to a lecture through online streaming. Video conferencing can help reduce travel costs and time required to give speeches at different places. Such devices enable learners to take their classrooms anywhere. There are more education apps available already that students, as well as teachers, can use.

Word processing applications help students discover new words and teachers can teach students to use these classroom technologies during the learning sessions.

Technology is the ideal way to customize classroom teaching computers have evolved and they have changed the way the look and the way they function. Nowadays we have both desktop computers and portable computers commonly known as notebooks or laptops.

A mix of traditional and digital education can assist in personalizing lessons to teach in a more meaningful way while Integrating technology in the classroom increases students interest in learning by facilitating different teaching techniques.
