New Update

The major challenges faced by Aircel in the initive includes importing

standard equipments that were not available in India, identifying organization

or partners that were involved in the green project or who has already done it

and have the knowledge of scientific methodology to calculate the power

efficiency. Moreover, space and environment was also another challenge faced, to

deploy the green initiatives.

The datacenter was designed with the aim to increase IT efficiency through

consolidation and energy efficiency using green energy solutions. Also Aircel

wanted to reduce the the overall carbon footprints by 400 tons per year with the

design & implementation of these green solutions. Other benefits include

conserving the energy and saving the environment. The LED base lightning would

help its people in maintaining better health and less strain on their eyes.

The company will focus on measuring the performance to see the returns with the

monitoring of sub systems so that the planning for the growth can be planned in

advance. The Adaptive Cooling Technology helps in reducing load and thus saves

the operational costs which uses sensors for optimum cooling. The Earth Air

tunnel (EAT) reduces the overall load & capacity of the chiller. With this,

there has been a reduction in the fresh air temperature by 6 degree celcius and

thereby reducing the tonnage by 10TR.
