On 15 August, Independence Day, AjnaLens, a Mumbai-based provider of augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality solutions, will introduce its mixed reality headsets (MR). AjnaXR SE and AjnaXR Pro, two mixed-reality headsets from the startup, will be available. The two 2.1-inch F-LCD displays on the AjnaXR SE MR headset are expected to have a resolution of 3200 x 1600 pixels. It is rumoured to have a 5,500mAh battery and 128GB of storage. The AjnaXR Pro headset, on the other hand, will have displays with even better resolutions and hand-tracking capabilities. Additionally, the Pro version will include a coloured pass-through camera.

The AjnaXR headset, first unveiled in January at CES 2023, would purportedly use the Snapdragon XR2 platform after the business reportedly teamed with Qualcomm last month.

Apple Vision Pro, mixed reality headsets

Last month, Apple's Vision Pro, mixed reality headsets, were also presented at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The Apple Vision Pro is the brand's first MR headset, costing $3,499 (about Rs. 2,88,700). The headset is expected to go on sale next year and has fantastic hardware.

Conclusion

But according to a recent source, Apple was compelled to reduce its output of the Vision Pro headsets. The complicated design of the headset is cited as the justification for this decision. The most costly Meta headset costs more than three times as much as the current pricing of Apple's headsets. The price of the AjnaLens mixed reality headsets has yet to be discovered, but we won't have to wait long to find out.
