Amazon.in Offering Free One-day and two-day Delivery with its Prime Membership Program

Amazon.in the Indian E-commerce section of Amazon has Commenced Prime Membership Program than can help scores of Indian customers to have heavy discount on thousands of products with a free delivery services.

With Prime, Indian customers in over 100 cities can enjoy unlimited free one-day and two-day delivery on lakhs of eligible products. The e-commerce section is offering a free trial period of 60 days to allow Indian shoppers to experience the benefits of Prime.

Along with unlimited free fast delivery, Prime members can enjoy Prime Early Access, allowing members to purchase top Lightning Deals 30 minutes early, every single day. Additionally, Prime members will have special opportunities to enjoy Exclusive Deals from brands and sellers, selected especially for Prime members.

For sellers, Fulfillment by Amazon is now an even more powerful opportunity to rapidly grow their business and at the same time, provide customers across India with vast selection and unlimited fast free Prime delivery.

Amazon.in is offering Prime at an introductory annual subscription fee of INR 499, a discount of INR 500 over the list price of INR 999. As a special promotion, customers who sign up early can enjoy Prime free for 60 days, which is twice the normal trial period globally. Non-members will continue to have the option of expedited delivery on their orders with the usual delivery charges where applicable. Prime members in 20 cities can also choose same-day, morning or scheduled delivery at a discounted fee of INR 50 per order on over 10,000 products. For deliveries to cities not yet eligible for one-day or two-day delivery, members will receive free delivery with no minimum purchase.

Prime products will be delivered through the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) channel. FBA is the company’s gold standard product fulfillment service. It helps sellers increase online sales by giving them access to Amazon’s fulfillment resources, fast, free delivery options for their products and acclaimed customer service.

Sellers need to simply send their products to an Amazon fulfillment center and Amazon stores inventory, picks, packs and ships orders across India and also provide customer service on their behalf. FBA products are eligible for premium deliveries such as One Day Delivery and Morning Delivery, generating more orders for sellers. Most sellers report a substantial sales increase after they start using FBA.
