AMD has unveiled a variety of mobile processors as well as its new Ryzen 7000 mobile CPUs for desktops. The chips are reportedly being introduced across the company's portfolio, including gaming, content creation, professionals, and general consumers.

AMD added 65W Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors and new Ryzen 7000X3D series desktop processors to its lineup of options for Socket AM5 users. Additionally, AMD introduced the Ryzen 7045HX series of mobile processors, which are said to offer over 50% more performance than their predecessors.

AMD introduced the Ryzen 7040 series of mobile processors, some of which include the first artificial intelligence-specific x86 processor hardware.

AMD Ryzen 7045HX series mobile processors are based on cutting-edge 5nm process technology and feature up to 16 Zen 4 cores and 32 threads. They support sophisticated DDR5 memory.

AMD Ryzen 7040 series processors with up to eight Zen 4 cores and integrated AMD RDNA 3 graphics architecture are available for ultrathin PC laptops.

AI Technology by Ryzen

AMD also unveiled Ryzen AI Technology, the first dedicated artificial intelligence hardware in an X86 processor, as part of the new Ryzen 7040 series mobile processors. It brings the adaptive AI architecture of AMD XDNA to laptop computing to provide AI experiences in real time.

The AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics for laptops are based on the AMD RDNA 3 architecture and are designed to power advanced content creation applications and 1080p gaming at ultra settings on next-generation premium laptops.

AMD also introduced desktop processors in the Ryzen 7000 series that feature 3D V-Cache technology. There are up to 16 cores, 32 threads, and up to 144 MB of cache on the CPUs.

The Zen 4-based AMD Ryzen 7000 Series 65W desktop processors have a 65W TDP for both efficiency and performance.
