This was a surprise launch and has been aimed before intel announces their Comet Lake CPUs. Ryzen 3 3300x will be priced at $120 and Ryzen 3 3100 at $100. Which means these will be among the cheapest 4 core, 8 threaded CPUs on the market with the Zen 2 architecture. Which also means these CPUs will be supporting PCIe Gen 4, which is twice as fast as PCIe 3.0, which will be present on Comet Lake.

Both these CPUs will come to markets in May this year and the B550 chipset will release in June. The current chipset that supports PCIe 4 is the X570, which is considered an enthusiast level chipset. By June, it will be easy to make a budget gaming rig with a really good performance.

The CPUs will not come with an integrated GPU however. The Ryzen 3 3300X will have a base clock speed of 3.8 GHz and a boost speed of 4.3 GHz. The Ryzen 3100 will have a base speed on 3.6 GHz and a boost speed of 3.9 GHz.
