The IRC (International Robotics Competition) was started in 2009 to redirect the attention that was given on memorization of factual information, which in the long run completely kills the creativity and original thinking in the minds of our children. As part of the competition, children are required to build manually controlled and autonomous (only for senior level) robots to solve the given problems laid out on brilliant problem arenas. The theme for this year for all age groups is to solve problems related to Make in India. The following is the breakup of topics -

Junior level: Import and export of goods

Middle Level: Steel production plants

Senior level: Mission to Mars

The IRC League aims to become a source of inspiration and motivation for young minds to consciously take up careers in the domains of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) with a clear aim to innovate and thereby shape the future. The league shall capture the attention of young minds by giving them problems and challenges that not only stretch their imagination but are burning issues as well.
