The artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot named "Claude" from Anthropic, an organisation created by former members of OpenAI, will compete with ChatGPT.

According to a blog post by the business, "Claude is a next-generation AI assistant based on Anthropic's research on training helpful, honest, and harmless AI systems.

The brand-new chatbot is accessible through the developer console's chat interface and API. It can perform a wide range of text-processing and conversational tasks while remaining highly reliable and predictable.

It added, "Claude can assist with use cases such as summarization, search, creative and collaborative writing, Q&A, and coding, among other things."

The product was made available in two variants: Claude and Claude Instant. While the Claude is a cutting-edge, high-performance model, the Claude Instant is a lighter, more affordable, and much faster alternative.

In addition, the business stated that it intends to release additional updates in the coming weeks.

It went on to say that, "as we develop these systems, we will continue to work to make them more helpful, honest, and harmless as we learn more from our safety research and deployments."

Anthropic has adopted an alternate strategy, providing Claude with a bunch of standards at the time the model is "prepared" with tremendous measures of text information. Claude is made to explain its objections based on its principles, not to avoid potentially dangerous topics.

Robinson stated, "If anything, the challenge was getting it to loosen its restraints a little for really acceptable uses."
