New Update

If both looks and performance matter to you in an LED monitor, then the 27" AOC i2757 is definitely an option worth considering. The monitor has a beautiful, borderless design, thanks to an ultra-narrow bezel around its screen. The bottom bezel is host to five touch-sensitive buttons, which in addition to being extremely easy to use, also add to the monitor's good looks.

The i27577 uses IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology for its panel, which allows for really good picture quality and vibrant colors. It has a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, which provides more depth for darker images. Moreover, the panel's matte finish ensures there's no glare or reflection. Two HDMI ports ensure that you can plug multiple video sources to it. The monitor's screen can be tilted from 5 degrees (forward) to 15 degrees backward, but its height, swivel, and pivot are not adjustable.

Who is it for?

Being a multi-purpose monitor, there are six pre-defined settings for different activities you would want to use it for. These include standard, text, Internet, Games, Movies, and Sports. Power consumption varies considerably between these settings. In text mode, the monitor consumed 21 watts of power, while in sports mode, the consumption shot up to 33.4 Watts. These levels of power consumption are pretty decent for a 27" monitor. What's more, there's an off-timer that automatically switches off the monitor after a pre-defined interval, thereby saving you even more power.

The Bottomline: At Rs. 19,990, this is definitely a great buy for anybody looking for a large screen with great performance, and low power consumption.
