Apex Legends Season 6 Update Goes Live Across All Platforms, Patch Notes

Apex Legends has released its Season 6 update across all platforms. The size of the update is massive for Xbox at 41.31GB. For Playstation 4 the size is 23.16GB and 10.32GB for PC. In the Apex Legends Season 6 update, there seems to be a massive overhaul of the game and now there is a new legend as well. Rampart is going to come with the Apex Legends Season 6 update along with a new weapon Volt. Crafting makes its debut in this update. Crafting will let players customize their own weapons to fit their playing style.

Crafting in Apex Legends Season 6 Update:

Probably the most anticipated feature that players wanted in the game is finally here. Crafting is somewhat similar to what we have seen in Call of Duty Warzone but with an Apex Legends twist on it. Players will have to collect materials in the game from an orange-colored structure. After collecting the materials players will need to take them to another station in the game. Once they have done that a menu will appear which will allow players to trade the materials they have collected in the game. Volt SMG in Apex Legends Season 6 Update:

Volt SMG is not a new surprise for players but still, it was much anticipated. This will be the first energy-based SMG in the game and will fire a salvo of energy-based ammunition, decreasing drag and making it possible to hit multiple targets within a short window.

RAMPART in Apex Legends Season 6 Update:

Ramya Parekh is a 21-year-old British Indian, blue-collar, private business owner who just needs a big gun and a backpack full of scrap metal to get by in the dangerous, wild west world of the Outlands. Parekh brings her modded shields, and knowledge of heavy weapons, such as Sheila. Rampart has increased magazine capacity and faster reloads when using LMGs and the Minigun. Modded Loader also increases the number of shots before overheating occurs and improves cooling when using the L-STAR. Rampart builds a crouch-cover wall, which deploys a full-cover amped wall that blocks incoming shots and amps outgoing shots. A max of 5 amped walls can be deployed at a time. Rampart places a mounted machine gun that anyone can use, with high ammo capacity and a long reload time. A max of 3 miniguns can be deployed at a time.

World’s Edge Update in Apex Legends Season 6

Launch Site has been added to the map and can be found to the west of The Dome in a previously unoccupied lava field. The giant rocketship stands above the center of this new point of interest, and it can be seen towering over the mountains from as far away as Refinery. This new drop location has four large control rooms to hold and tons of loot. Many squads should feel comfortable landing here, spreading out, and pushing across the raised catwalks and lava-filled terrain to be the last team standing. Drill Site has been replaced with Countdown. Staging is a smaller PoI, but lands in the nexus of a heavily traveled area in the center of the map. This new drop location replaces a small town that used to sit directly below the train tracks to the east of Harvester. It should now provide much more interesting fights, as well as significantly more loot. The rising walls are a new map mechanic added to World’s Edge and can be found in Launch Site, Countdown, and Staging. Activating a panel will start the giant blast wall to rise, creating a defensible platform and permanently fortifying the position of whichever team was lucky enough to control it first. Heading east from Survey Camp will now lead you into a new pathway, directly through the cliffside, across the train tracks, and into Skyhook. This new cut-through has been great for rotating successfully out of Skyhook and should allow Survey Camp to be a little more viable as a drop location or a rotation option.
