Apex Legends has finally revealed what the new Season 7 is going to be about and it's beautiful, to say the least. Not only did they reveal the  Apex Legends Season 7 Ascension but the way they did it had us and many players forming droplets of moisture under our eye. On the official Youtube channel of Apex Legends, a video dropped named Stories from the Outlands – “Promise” and it showed us the story of Dr. Mary Somers who is also the new Legend in Season 7. If you haven't yet seen it then you should. Even if you don't like Apex Legends this video is something that you should give a view just for the sheer beauty of it.

The video Stories from the Outlands – “Promise” starts with Dr. Mary Somers. Nearly a century ago, Dr. Mary Somers was hired to solve a cataclysmic energy crisis. Her search for answers would take her to the edge of the universe. Before Mary left Olympus, she promised her son she’d return. But was it a promise she’d be able to keep?

Apex Legends Season 7 Ascension is about Dr. Mary Somers. It's about the journey of a mother in search of her son. A story of betrayal and maybe even redemption. The video did the job it was supposed to do and even more. Kudos to whoever at Respawn Entertainment decided to give this a go ahead cause it is one of the better trailers we have seen not only from Apex Legends but from games in general.
