Apple is expected to unveil its next-generation Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 during its September launch event, and they will be the first iPhones to include a USB Type-C connection. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro are claimed to sport a titanium mid-frame, solid-state volume buttons, and the tiniest bezels across the display with the most incredible screen-to-body ratio on an iPhone.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro

The primary varieties, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, are believed to have a 60Hz screen and to receive the USB Type-C hardware upgrade. While the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to employ the A17 Bionic CPU, the non-pro models are expected to use the A16 Bionic chipset, also found in the iPhone 14 Pro. Regarding software, both phones will come with iOS 17, which is expected to provide several useful features.

The bill of materials (BoM) is anticipated to increase due to the inclusion of more premium materials like titanium, which might result in a price increase for the base model of the iPhone 15 Pro. As a result, the iPhone 15 Pro may cost more than the iPhone 14 Pro.

It is believed to be built on a particular Apple Silicon processor - M2 Ultra, with up to 24 CPU cores, 76 GPU cores, and up to 192GB of shared memory. Furthermore, this is reported to be the first Apple Silicon processor to permit storage expansion.
