Apple Has Come up with iOS 17.0.3 Update to Fix Heating Issue on iPhone 15 Pro

Those who experienced heating issues with their iPhone 15 Pro models blamed it on the titanium body, while some also suspected the new 3nm A17 Pro chip. 

However, Apple disputed these claims, saying that there appears to be a bug in iOS 17 that could cause iPhones to run hotter than normal. Apple also blamed some third-party apps like Instagram, Uber and Asphalt 9 for the heating problem in the new iPhones and said it is working with developers to fix the problem.

How do I get the latest update?

You can update your iPhone software manually by checking for the latest iOS version.

Just go to Settings, then general, select about and finally click on Software Update.

If iOS 17.0.3 is available for your device (Apple releases updates gradually), you can install it now.

This should help prevent your iPhone from overheating. Apple notes that it is normal for iPhones to be warmer than expected in the first few days after a new installation. But installing the update is highly recommended if you have a new iPhone 15 Pro model or even if you had heating issues with older iPhone models.
