The camera bulge on the iPhone 15 Ultra will be far smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, making the phone more convenient. The iPhone 15 Ultra display will most likely be the same size as the iPhone14 ProMax at 6.7inches, but the bezels have been significantly reduced, giving the phone a crisp appearance. According to the leaks, the iPhone 15 Ultra sides would be constructed of titanium alloy rather than stainless steel. It is also reported that the physical buttons will be removed in favour of USB Type-C.

Is Apple preparing the release of an Ultra variant?

Apple is rumoured to be preparing the release of an Ultra variant of its next flagship, in addition to the basic, Pro, Plus, and Pro Max editions. The new Ultra model is rumoured to include a faster CPU, a better camera, and a longer battery life. According to rumours, the iPhone 15 Ultra/Pro Max would have a Samsung display with a peak brightness rating of 2500 nits. The current iPhone 14Pro and Pro Max versions have a peak brightness of 2000 nits. The rumoured brightness level is higher than the most recent Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which can attain a maximum brightness level of 1750 nits.

Conclusion

While nothing is official, the next iPhone 15 basic and Plus versions are reported to use the A16 Bionic and a QualcommX70 5G modem. At the same time, the higher-end variants - iPhone 15Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max - are likely to include the future A17 Bionic processor.
