Apple has given iPhone SE a massive price cut and a number of retailers across the country have begun to offer iPhone SE at Rs 19,999 while the 64GB model now sells for Rs 25,999.

The news (not official) was broken by Kerala-based Apple retailer ITNetInfocom (@itnetinfocom).

The smartphone was launched in India at Rs 39,000 in April 2016 and is now selling at retailers at a new price. Apple recently announced a cashback offer for card transactions (non-EMI) where customers get a cashback amount of Rs 5,000 which they will receive within 90 days of purchase. Indeed, this offer seems to add to the discount price which is why we have witnessed a drastic price drop. The cashback offer is expected to be available until 31 March. This cashback offer is only available on offline purchases in stores.

Apple iPhone SE features a 4-inch display and it is powered by A9 chipset coupled with M9 motion coprocessor. The smartphone sports a 12MP rear camera and supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The rear camera is also capable of recording full HD slow-motion videos at 120fps and time-lapse video with stabilization.

Apple is planning to start assembling iPhone SE in India in Bangalore soon.
