  • Given that Apple has previously released two new iterations of the AirPods charging case, it may switch to a new USB Type-C case for the AirPods Pro 2. The business released the third generation of AirPods in 2022 with a Lightning-only charging case and a MagSafe case option for the AirPods Pro, which debuted in 2021.

Expected features in Apple's upcoming AirPods In related news, Apple's upcoming AirPods are anticipated to include significant ear-health-related features. According to one of Gurman's reports, the Cupertino-giant may add the capability to "get hearing data of some sort" through the upcoming AirPods. In the skin of the ear, it could also monitor information like pulse rate and blood oxygen levels. Patents have also suggested the same in the past. Gurman thinks all three AirPod versions could include USB-C by the end of 2024, contrary to Kuo's assertion that only the AirPods Pro 2 could do so.
