Apple TV launched in India at Rs 8,295

Though a year after the international launch, Apple has silently launched its newest Apple TV in India for a price tag of Rs 8,295.

Apple TV allows consumers to wirelessly stream media content from their iTunes account to their television.

'Yes, we have launched the product and the same will be out in retail stores over the next week."

The move comes less than two months after Apple launched its iTunes store in India, selling high-definition movies at prices starting from Rs. 490, an Apple spokesperson said.
