ASUS brings Intel Z97-based Maximus VII Gaming Motherboards starting from Rs 14,900

ASUS announced the Maximus VII GenemATX, Maximus VII Hero ATX, and the newMaximus VII Ranger ATX gaming motherboards.These Intel® Z97 chipset-based Maximus VII motherboards feature the LGA 1150 socket and supports Intel 4th, new 4th and 5th-generation processors (codenamed Haswell, Haswell Refresh, Haswell Refresh K-series/ Devil's Canyon) to deliver good gaming performance.

The Maximus VII series is equipped with networking and audio for gaming, along with an UEFI BIOS and M.2 (PCIex2) with up to 10Gbit/s data transfer speeds. ASUS's latest networking optimization utility, GameFirst III, is upgraded and incorporates more features and an intuitive interface. GameFirst III can prioritize game packets, allocating more bandwidth for games to ensure a smoother online gaming experience. Users can select several preset modes (Optimization, Game, Media Streaming, and File Sharing); they can even manage bandwidth for individual applications. GameFirst III also has a built-in Network Monitor tool to supervise network traffic and test connection speeds.

The Maximus VII Hero and Ranger motherboards come with Supreme FX2014 and Maximus VII Gene with SupremeFX Impact II audio card, to provide a greater audio experience.

This seventh generation Maximus motherboards features audio technologies such as Sonic SenseAmp,which detects headphone impedance and automatically adjusts the built-in amp; while the onboard SonicSoundStage button provides an easy way to apply the best audio settings for popular game genres (FPS, racing, combat and sport).

The prices of three motherboards are: Maximus VII Ranger - Rs14900, Maximus VII Hero - Rs. 18050 and Maximus VII Gene - Rs 16710
