This is an Intel 865G chipset based motherboard with 800 MHz FSB and dual channel DDR 400 SDRAM support with a max of 4 GB. It has onboard Intel Extreme Graphics 2 engine, AGP 8x slot, 3 PCI slots, 2 SATA connectors, LAN, 4 USB ports, On-board Sound Max 6-channel audio codec, though you have to buy the connectors for 6-channel sound separately.
We tested the board with the same configuration as the above Gigabyte board and the results were lower than the Gigabyte by a margin of 4-5%. However, when compared with the Intel 865GBF, the difference was less. With an external video card, the Intel board is better than Asus by 2.5-3.5 % but with on-board graphics, both seem to be performing equally well.

The board is a close competitor to Intel 865 in performance but the price is significantly higher than the 865, being Rs 2,000 more.
