The newly launched Avita Essential laptop looks like the ideal choice for both school and college students. For those who might have not heard about Avita, it is a new laptop brand in India and has launched almost 7 laptops in India. This new laptop is called Avita Essential and as the name implies it packs all the Essentials. The price for the Avita Essential starts from Rs. 17,990 and for that price you get a laptop that can do the basics of school and college work. Yes, it can be used for online classes.

Avita Essential Specifications:

Starting with the basics, this is a thin and light notebook. The processor inside powering Avita Essential is the Intel Celeron N4000 which is not a powerful processor for windows but perfect for Ubuntu or ChromeOS. There is 4GB of LPDDR4 inside which again is not good enough for Windows but perfect for Ubuntu and ChromeOS. For storage Avita Essential has 128GB SSD. Fast storage means faster boot time but again we would highly recommend using Ubuntu or ChromeOS on this machine.

Coming to other aspects of this notebook, there is a 2MP webcam at the top. Dual Microphones are also there along with 2 speakers of 0.8W. The keyboard is not backlit but at Rs. 17,990 no one expects a backlit keyboard. The screen size is 14 inches and supports 1920 x 1080 resolution. The screen panel used is an IPS panel so viewing angles should be decent if not excellent. Ports are located at the back of the laptop and there are plenty of them.
