This year’s Blizzcon event was recently hosted by game development firm Blizzard. The studio unveiled three World of Warcraft expansions and one for Diablo IV at this event. Similar to the mobile game Diablo Immortal, Blizzard has revealed another game for smartphones that takes place in an entirely separate universe.

In 2022, the firm revealed the Warcraft Rumble. Worldwide users of iPhones and Android devices may now download this game.

Blizzard Warcraft Rumble: Key details

Blizzard described the mobile action strategy game in the Warcraft universe on its official page. The developer claims that this is the first Warcraft game designed specifically for mobile devices. In this game, players can also build and command mini-armies consisting of iconic heroes, villains and creatures from the Warcraft universe.

At launch, the game will feature famous heroes such as Jaina Proudmoor, Grommash Hellscream, Hogger and Sylvanas Windrunner, each with their own abilities.

In addition to PvP matches, players can also participate in an extensive single-player campaign. This game features small-scale strategic puzzles that players must solve to progress through the campaign.  The game mainly revolves around gathering and using an army. In this game, players collect leaders and soldiers known as miniatures to use in their army.

Miniatures can be brought onto the battlefield in campaign or PvP. These armies are further divided into five themes, or “families”. Choices are Alliance, Horde, Beast, Undead and Blackrock. They all have different play styles and the miniatures are also divided into melee, ranged, flying and team categories.

Blizzard Warcraft Rumble: Availability

The game is available for free on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Players who manage to complete the tutorial within two weeks of release will receive a set of four match-themed items to customize their profile and army’s in-game appearance.

In addition to revealing World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2 director Aaron Keller revealed the idea for the hero that will come after Mauga, as well as the identity of the following hero, Venture. Six months after the basic game’s release, the Diablo 4 developers hinted about the first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, during the section. Months ahead of its official debut in 2024, Hearthstone was previewing a cooperative Duos mode on the exhibition floor, along with the following three expansions that would make up the recently dubbed “Worldsoul Saga.”
