Tthe Quiet Comfort 15 headphones are the latest from the Bose, which should
grab your attention if you don't mind spending that extra bit on headphones, for
your iPod, laptop, etc.
The AAA sized battery is housed in the right ear cup, which powers the
output. It is actually annoying to have to worry about battery, when other
headphones can work well even without any.
In terms of functionality, the QC15 does offer really good sound quality,
which is what is expected from a Bose product. It blocks out the ambient noise
quite well, allowing you to catch even the lightest notes in the music. However,
we found them a bit uncomfortable on the ear, plus there is a weird suction
noise if you even press the ear cups even slightly from the outside.
Overall, the Quiet Comfort15 is expensive, but if the flash factor is your
priority, then you can definitely consider this. Else, there are a lot of other
alternatives available - Sennheiser PXC150 (Rs 6.5k) and Philips SHN9500 (Rs
5.7k).
