Nobody can afford to ignore the mobile space, given the stupendous growth
it's witnessed. Today a mobile phone is a tool to conduct your business
efficiently on the move. So much so that most well-known mobile brands have
introduced business phones for busy mobile executives. So it's these business
phones we're comparing in this survey. Amongst all business phones, Nokia is the
most future ready brand, making it the winner of users' choice awards this year,
followed by Blackberry at a distant two.
Interestingly, we've also had brands that are not really considered as pure
play business phones also in the list, like LG and Samsung. But then a mobile
phone is your personal companion and you can use it as per your requirement. So
we have Samsung as the most persuasive brand in business phones, wherein users
who said they're likely to purchase it are more than those who had it on top of
their minds. Likewise, Sony Ericsson is the second most persuasive brand.
In brand pull, it's the Blackberry that has the maximum traction, with lots
of users switching into the brand and very few switching out. On the brand
loyalty front, Nokia and Samsung rule the roost with more than 40% of their
existing users likely to stay with them in the next three months as well. The
remaining players have brand loyalties that are well below 40%. The worst hit
are Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
