Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 Trailer is Here, New and Improved BR Mode

Call of Duty Mobile official twitter account just dropped the new trailer for Season 9 and it is beautiful. The new trailer is for the changes in the BR Mode of the game and there are a ton of improvements coming. The trailer only focused on the improvements being made in the BR Mode of the game and one of the most noticeable touches being that now the BR mode will look more like Call of Duty Warzone. It does make sense for devs of the mobile version to take inspiration from one of the most popular AAA Gaming titles. Warzone has been dominating the viewership charts on Twitch and is getting more viewers than Fortnite or Apex Legends. Call of Duty Warzone just tweeted that they have crossed 75 million downloads and now the same gameplay mechanics that made Warzone so great are coming in Call of Duty Mobile Season 9.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 BR Mode Updates:

In the trailer of the new Call of Duty mobile Season 9 it showed new features that are similar to Warzone like:

• Customized weapon loadout

  The new update is bringing the same weapon loot system that was previously only seen in Call of Duty Warzone. Now players will be able to customize their weapons in the gunsmith option of the game and get those weapons in BR. Players will find those customized weapons in Air Drops in the BR Mode. This is a feature that was only seen in Warzone. In Warzone players would make a customize loadout of their weapons in the game and then get those weapons in the match via Airdrops. Seems like the devs of Call of Duty Mobile want to spice things up in Season 9.

• New items added in the BR Mode

  Remember the famous armour plate system of Call of duty warzone. Now that same system is coming in Call of Duty Mobile Season 9. Now players can repair their damaged vests using armour plates the same way it is done in Warzone. So if a player has level 1 vest then only 1 armour plate is needed to fix the damage and if a player has level 3 vest then 3 armour plates will be needed to fix the damage. Another new feature that is coming in the BR Mode is Gun Mods. This is somewhat like Operator skills in Warzone but essentially it works by giving players skills in the BR mode. This not the same as different classes in BR Mode but more like operator skills.

• New Kill Affects

  This is something that was needed for a long time in Call of duty mobile. Kill effects in mobile games refer to the body shots or headshots the players give to opponents and get some type of graphic effect. PUBG Mobile has this and so does Garena Free Fire. Now in the Call of duty season 9 update the game is finally getting some new and shiny kill effects.

• New Areas coming in the BR Map

  Call of duty mobile will get some more new areas in the Season 9 update. There are four new areas being added to the map. Campground, Radar-base, Dormitory, and outpost. These are probably going to be high loot areas and are spread across the map.

• Warzone Way is the New Way

  Now players will see a completely new way of dropping in the map in the Call of Duty Mobile Season 9. Just like in the warzone now players will be able to see the name of the location they are dropping in on their way while parachuting in the game. This is a cool feature and was much needed in the game to make the BR Mode more appealing to more players.

• New textures are being added

  If you know about game building engines then you may know that Call of duty mobile is built on the Unity engine. For a long time players have complained about the textures and water effects in the game and the devs have answered. In the Call of duty mobile season 9 update the BR Mode will get a lot more new textures and effects that will make the environment look more appealing to the players.
