Call of Duty Mobile Ultimate SMG Guide: How to Be the Best in the Multiplayer Map

Call of Duty Mobile is now one of the more popular games in the Battle Royale segment. Mostly known for its multiplayer maps CODM is now catching everyone’s eyes. To get the new players started with the game here are some tips on how to use SMGs in the Call of Duty Mobile. 

SMG or SubMachine Gun is a weapons class in Call of Duty Mobile and has some of the best guns that are overpowered and fun to play in the game. The main reason many players prefer SMG over the Assault Rifles (AR) or the LMG is due to their high rate of fire and the movement speed. 

SMG’s are versatile guns and are great in close to mid-range combat. For new players who are trying their hands on the Call of Duty multiplayer maps here is how you get the most of the SMG. 

The SMG of our choice is going to be the AKS-74U or RUS-79U. Its one of the best SMG’s you can use in the game. Just be careful that you choose the attachments carefully for the gun. Our favorite attachments are the: 

• fast-reload mag: To increase reloading speed in a match since you’ll be emptying the magazine most of the time. 
• FMJ: To increase damage 
• Stock: To increase mobility since SMG’s need the player to be agile to work best. 
• Holographic Sights: That’s a personal preference and you won’t get scopes in SMG anyway.

SO here’s how to take the full advantage of SMG in the Call of Duty Mobile. 

• Movement: SMGs are lightweight guns in Call of Duty mobile and assist players in moving faster across the map but the guns rely on that movement as well. If you are using the RUS-79U as your gun then you need to move around a lot and spray fire on your enemies. The more you move and jump about the more your SMG will appreciate you. 
• Recoil Control: SMGs have a horizontal recoil pattern in the Call of duty mobile game. Some guns have more recoil than others but all SMGs have a recoil pattern and most of that recoil is horizontal. To counteract the recoil you can practice against AI in the game or you can do the bullet spray while aiming down which is way better. Try it with the PDW and you’ll see the difference. 
• Know your SMGs: It is critical that you understand your weapon completely to match with it in the game. So if you’re going to use the SMG you need to understand certain weaknesses of this class of weapons. This comes with practice and trying different maps. 
• Standoff Map: Standoff is the best map to practice the SMG movement and speed. You need to be fast and move around all the time on the map. So if you’re going to use SMGs then play a lot in the standoff map.
