Ahead of the launch of Nothing Phone (1) which will finally release on the 12th of July, the company revealed camera specifications with some sample pictures clicked through it. There have been several rumors so far regarding price and software that one can come to the conclusion.
This first-time Android smartphone has been talked about continuously for its design and features. Now, just a day before the official launch, Nothing has showcased a bunch of camera samples taken from the Nothing Phone (1) and has revealed the key camera specifications of the device.
"2 good cameras are better than 1 good + 3 cheap cameras," tweeted company founder Carl Pei.
Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (1) will feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX766) with f/18 aperture and a 1/1.56″ sensor size.
Furthermore, the device will be capable of shooting 10-bit color videos and will feature dual OIS and EIS stabilization. Nothing Phone (1) is confirmed to have an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 114-degree field of view. Lastly, the device will have support for night mode and scene detection.
Specifications expected so far
The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 788G chipset with a long 6.43 FHD+ AMOLED Display with a 90Hz of refresh rate. It has a 32 MP front camera and a triple 50+8+2 sensor back camera. The customers can get storage of 8GB and 128GB. Equipped with a 4,500mAH battery with wireless charging.
