Most Indian Banks have only a half-hearted online presence. We checked out fifty banks that operate in India, and found that baring a few non offered any thing beyond standard forms on their web sites. And there are Banks that do not bother to update even their basic web pages for months together, if not years. Obviously, online banking nirvana is far away still.

    These banks don’t let you transact online, but have downloadable forms for opening various accounts, or applying for loans, which you can fill and send across
