To test this printer, we installed it on the network on a system having Windows 7 with 1GB RAM. While installing you can also choose the USB port but there is no WiFi support. Before installing the printer, we assigned the IP address to the printer through the control panel given on the printer. When tested in normal mode, the printer took 7 seconds to print the first page. It took one minute to print 30 pages. However, in the duplex printing mode, it took two minutes to print the same set of 30 pages, while Dell D2330dn laser jet printer (reviewed in March' 2011) took 1 minute 50 seconds to print this set of 30 pages in duplex mode. The quality of the printouts was clear and crisp for text as well as images.
Bottomline:The printer is a decent buy for small workgroup requirements.
