This mono laser claims to cut down yourprint waiting time to zero by giving
instant printing. It's monochrome printer with a maximum resolution of 2400x600
dpi. The printer has USB connectivity and is meant to be used as a desktop
printer. It does have optional network connectivity as well, in case you would
like to share it within a small workgroup. In this printer, Canon incorporated
High Smart Compression Architecture (Hi-SCoA), which compresses print data into
manageable sizes so that less RAM is needed to process them. That's why the
printer is able to manage with just 8MB of internal memory, and no memory
expansion option. Finally there is the On-Demand Fixing technology that results
in no warm-up time to start printing.

In our test , LBP 3250 was able to print the first page in about 6 seconds.
Even for a page that included graphics, the time taken for printing the first
page was almost the same. Thus giving faster prints and no waiting time for the
printer to warm-up. In speed tests, it was able to print 26 pages per minute and
the quality of the text as well as graphics was crisp and clear. When compared
with Samsung ML-1640 (reviewed on Oct '08), the time for first page printout is
almost half as Samsung printer took 14 seconds to churn out first page and had a
print speed of 16 ppm.
Bottomline: Given the price, print quality and performance this
printer is a good option for business users.
