Canon LBP 6018B

An entry-level monochrome & single function laser printer, meant for small offices. You'll appreciate its compact size and easy setup. The printer can be connected directly to a PC via USB.

With a weight of 5 Kg, the printer is relatively comfortable to be moved from one place to another. But the build quality doesn't look so sturdy. The input tray can hold a maximum of 150 pages at a time which is average for a low-end laser printer, and for the output tray, the capacity is 100 pages. The control panel contains only two buttons. The Canon LBP 6018B doesn't make too much of a noise while printing. Canon rates the printer's monthly duty cycle as 5,000 pages, which should prove sufficient for a majority of small businesses.

It proved itself to be a consistent and speedy performer. We tested the printer with a set of standard ISO 19752 page (100 pages). For the speed test, it posted consistent scores in the 16-pages-per-minute range. The time taken for the first page was 9 sec which is again excellent time for an entry level monochrome laser printer. Meanwhile, the maximum print resolution supported is 2400×600 with a crisp and intact print quality. But it is unable to do USB drive, network, mobile or cloud and duplex printing. You can have upto 1600 prints with a single cartridge.
